Aprilia motorcycles

Aprilia - Italian motorcycle manufacturer, is one of seven brands owned by Piaggio, one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers.

Aprilia started life producing scooters, but now it is more commonly known as a manufacturer of motorcycle racing.

Aprilia was founded immediately after the Second World War, Albert Begg, a bicycle manufacturing company in the town of Noale, Italy, Province of Venice.

Son Alberto, Ivano Begg, became the owner of the company in 1968 and built the first 50 cc motorcycle Aprilia. The first motorcycles were named Aprilia Colibrì, Daniela and Packi. Later, in 1970, Aprilia started producing motocross motorcycles called Scarabeo. In 1980 Aprilia began manufacturing motorcycles class Enduro and Trial cubic capacity from 50cc to 600ss.
