BMW R90S (Daytona Orange)

This unique. rare bike has come on the market due to change of circumstances. It is being sold with great regret but these decisions have to be made one way or the other.
About the bike:The previous owner had acquired this bike on 14/6/1977. Prior to that. it changed 2 hands from brother to the other due to a divorce settlement. The present owner acquired the bike on 11/3/1987 and has used it very sparingly mainly due to the large collection of bikes he has. This beautiful bike along with 4 or 5 other rare bikes has just come out of a storage/collection. I have got 4 V5's one the current V5C and three of the old V5. I have also got 3 old MOT's:1. 2003/04. mileage 51182. 2004/05. mileage 52763. 2005/06. mileage 5345
It is currently showing just a few more miles as I have taken it up and down the road for a test ride.
The bike is now ready for its MOT as I have recently changed the spark plugs. put in fresh petrol. a new battery and the bike starts and runs fine. However. I personally would clean the carbs and may be clean the tank to be safe.
This bike has the advantage of having electronic ignition fitted but I have still got the original point system which was taken out at 4000 odd miles.
The bike is currently on SORN and has been on SORN since 2006.
