Here is a very rare Velocette MSS scrambler in superb running order. Easy to start on the Lucas K1FC competition magneto - this bike sounds absolutely awesome. especially when revved. The open pipe might offend your neighbours but in a good way! Remarkably the engine settles down to a nice quiet tickover. The engine sounds perfect mechanically. very very sweet!

The bike is also awesome to ride. The lowish gearing makes for fantastic acceleration but it is not too low geared for the road. certainly short blasts around the leafy lanes would be perfect on this machine.

Brakes. gearbox & clutch are all in A1 condition.

The bike is registered as historic vehicle (free road tax). Registration number is 883 UYJ. Frame number is 1069/35 engine number MSS 13043S.

It is declared manufactured 1958.

Cosmetically the bike is in beautiful condition. (Some might say too good for an off-roader!)

The paint on the frame is a very high quality deep gloss stove-enamel. Tank is in beautiful condition.

Front rim is a genuine Dunlop with beautiful chrome. Spokes/ nipples are genuine looking clean & dry rustless type. Rear rim is also excellent Dunlop with similar spokes. Tyres are both Dunlop Trials Universals in good condition.

The cylinder head has a rough cast finish and the barrel is iron (painted silver). There is no fin damage on either.

This is an awesome bike in good enough to show condition. That said it would be a shame to condign this bike to the realms of a static display piece as it is such fun to ride!
