Vincent Comet series C 1950

This Really nice 1950 restored Vincent series C comet 500cc. Just come in From its long term VOC owners club Member.
The Vincent has all matching frame & Engine numbers and still retains its original UK registration number LKB849.
We also have with this bike all documents Inc V5 registration / Old style brown log book and certificate of authenticity 100% genuine just as it left the factoryIn 1950.
First registered 6th june 1950 to its first owner William Furness from sheffield and has still only had 5 owners from new.
This bike was restored 5 years ago by its last owner and has only just covered over 7. 000m from rebuild and was mainly used to travel to local VMCC events.
LKB849 runs and rides very well with easy starting / good brakes and a very smooth engine and gearbox.
Still fitted with all its original parts Inc miller lights / miller amp meter / amal 1/8th carb with remote float chamber etc.
This comet has also been fitted with 6v coil ignition for very easy starting and it also comes with its original Lucas magneto.
Just had full service in our workshop with new battery / plug and all oils etc.
I took this bike out for a 30mile ride the other day and it ran really well with easy starting and great power delivery. just how phil irving intended.
The last owner of LKB849 Raymond Barlow from sandbach has really looked after this Vincent and it is now time for a new owner to keep and look after LKB846 for the next part of its history.
We have full history for this bike with loads of receipt / old mots etc.
As most people know good genuine Vincents are very hard to find and LKB846 is a cracker.
Will be a fantastic bike for someone to Use show or just keep as a bluechip Investment for the future. Much better than cash in the bank at the moment.
