Description
I have decided to sell my BMW R1200 GS Adventure as I am hardly using it.
The bike is in excellent condition. It only has 20761 miles on the clock and is finished in magma red which was the best colour in that year.
This is the top of the range model and has the ABS brakes. ASC traction control. ESA adjustable suspension that is extremely useful to have. on board computer. fog lights and heated grips.
The bike also comes with some tasteful extras by the way of a aluminium bash plate. Maire carbon fibre rear shock protector. Gelled seats both rider and pillion. these are super comfy compared to the standard seats.
The bike also will come with full set of BMW expanding luggage set. the boxes have a few scuffs on them but are in perfect working order and lockable with the ignition key as they have been coded to the bike. the top box also has the back rest pad which is yet another upgrade from BMW.
The bike comes with Full BMW service history will all the stamps in the book. Its last service was only end of last year and I've hardly took it out since.
Also fitted is a Givi Airflow adjustable screen. I have the original one too.
Two new Metzeler Tourance NEXT tyres are fitted. again hardly any use since I put them on and are like new.
The paintwork on the bike is flawless. there are a few stone chips etc about on the usual areas that are exposed but nothing that's noticeable without getting down on your knees. The left hand mirror and hand guard has some scuffs on. these could probably be buffed away. but again no big deal. There is a very small dent on the right hand engine crash guard. I put my foot down on some gravel last year. lost my footing and the bike reached the angle of no return and I had to bail out and bike rested on its crash bars. These are heavy bikes and I've heard this story a few times!
I searched high and low for a good example of this bike two years ago and found this gem. I have looked after it like I have with all my bikes. its always been serviced and looked after by BMW backed up by numerous receipts and stamps in the book.
The MOT is due in June but if I get the asking price I will put a new 12 months one on for the new owner.
Any sensible questions. just ask. any stupid ones will be ignored.
The bike is located in TS17 and I will only accept cash on collection or bank transfer with money showing in my account before bike is released. The usual applies. no test rides without proof of insurance and the cash in my hand first. Thanks.
