Lambretta Silver Special Project

I have for sale a 1964 Lambretta Silver Special that just needs finishing off to be able to register and ride this summer!

I purchased her last year with the intention of restoring her to " better than new " condition and the work she has had done so far is along these lines. She was stripped to the last nut and bolt and all paintable parts were blasted ready for painting. All apart from the actual bodywork has already been painted with just the Leg Shields. Mudguard. Horncasting. Running Boards and Side Panels left to paint. These have been blasted though and are all original and in very good condition with just a small amount of prep work needed prior to paint ! The headset and a couple of other parts are painted ready to fit ! Every fitting currently used to get her to this stage has been stainless or polished original with many new parts ( many Casa ) She has had new bearings. brakes. tyres. seals. etc. with no expense spared at all.

The engine was initially seized and this has been stripped. cleaned and rebuilt by Pat @ Lambretta Re-Store at a cost of over £700 ! She has not even had oil in her yet ! I can show you exactly what was done and what she received during the process. The original carb was also cleaned and rebuilt by Pat. She had 12V fitted at the same time and all 12V horn. bulbs. wiring and electronics are present.

As you can see from the pictures. she is probably around 80% back together with all of the dirty hard work done! There is EVERY SINGLE PART here to complete with all new fixings. rubbers. light etc. Badges are probably the only things left to purchase to finish her off.

I do have the dating certificate and the Nova Reference documentation ready to register her when she is completed and MOT`d so no issues at all there! She can be viewed anytime at my home address so please come and look and I will put the kettle on! She really is in fantastic condition now and with only a few bits left to finish. A weekend would easily see her up and running with just cables etc. to complete. There is only the bodywork to complete then and she is ready to go! Only selling due to a business opportunity but if I don't get what I want for her. then she will stay right here.
