Price: $10 000 ≈ €9250 ≈ £7921
Item location: Fort Mill, South Carolina, US
Seller notes: “very nice original condition”
Decided to sell the original 1941 LE sidecar that is attached to my 42EL so I can enjoy it as a solo bike again. This is the nicest and most complete Harley sidecar that I have ever owned, every component is original and is useable functioning condition. It has matching numbers on the tub tag and sidecar frame, The frame is original paint and the tub has old black paint with what appears to be original silver paint underneath. There is no rust or rot on the tub anywhere! Will come complete with all the mounts to attach the sidecar to any rigid frame big twin harley 1936-1957 along with the brake rod and wiring!
All of the glass in the fender light and tail light are original including the tag lens on the 42-46 style tail light. that's the only thing that isn't correct for this sidecar but I installed that so that it would match the one on the bike. original wheel cover is in nice condition, both wheels have 40-43 hubs, the spare has an original firestone tire and the other tire is a coker reproduction. Original fender tip, original spare tire carrier with key, original square key for the seat lock, all original trim and even has an original check strap which is missing on most side cars you see. There are a few rips/tears in the windshield apron and the outside fender skirt has a crack in it that can been seen in the pictures but overall shows very well for an 82 year old sidecar!
I can imagine that anyone would be disappointed after purchase but please ask any and all questions you may have before or need additional pictures or information feel free to call or text 803-287-8575 -Matt
Bike obviously isn't included and isn't for sale!
