1970 Norton Commando Roadster. This is an early example of the 750 Roadster and has all the same parts as the "S-Type" without the inconveniance of high pipes. It is finished in the Norton colour Fireflake Golden Bronze" the petrol tank is fibreglass and lined with Caswell GT1780. Wheel rims and spokes are stainless steel tyres are TT100s with about 3000miles on them. Cylinders barrels were rebored to +40 last year and barrels have been stove enamelled to the correct silver colour. Head gasket has been replaced due to seepage around push rod tubes. So head will require retorquing and exhausts tightened in the near future. other things include Pazon ignition matching engine and frame numbers. A good rideable classic Commando ready for that elusive dry weather.
