As an instrument maker have spent hundreds within the last year on the following with much attention to detail:
Brake pads. cables. new wiring loom. original Lucas headlamp and surround. new sealed battery and rubber case. complete oil change. plugs. rotor arm. HT leads. distributor cap. bar grips. cables. kickstart spring. rear wheel bearings. new Amal carb. fuel pipes. brass petrol taps and filters. engine rubber snubber mounts.
A big folder of service receipts accompanies with many receipts from Stewert Engineering and other specialists throughout its long life. to include tax discs. MOTs and a users handbook. So a great service history of previous work undertaken. A really early green registration book is also present. A newer version V5 document is now present and correct showing 3 owners from new.
I have a huge history file for the bike going back to 1960
It has had 3 former keepers. Here is some info that is present with the bike when it was at the Hanworth Carnival Vintage collection in 1990:
This machine dated 1950 was completely rebuilt by Stewert Engineering (Putney) in 1970 and subsequently became part of the Gangbridge collection until November 1989. The recorded mileage of 120 miles is correct from 1970-1990. From then on the machine was ridden on a regular basis.
I have MOT certificates for the following years:
2013 to expire May 2014
She starts and runs well and is a joy to ride. Good condition with all work carried out to a high standard. A great Sunny Sunbeam classic ready for summer. taxed and priced sensibly to sell to a deserving new owner.
