Clearing unused bike collection due to lack of use and excess dust gathering
Here we have a Trident T160 1976. The bike covered about 20K miles between 1976 and 1979 when the bike was laid up.
It slumbered for what the owner thought was a few years. It was purchased from him by the current owner before being awoken and repaired in 1990.
A full engine rebuild followed some minor modifications to ensure it didn't leak oil again!
It also has ( twin front brakes. aeroquip hoses) improved seals and the bike was refettled and renovated.
It was used very sparingly before joining a large collection of motorcycles. Kept in the South of France. it has been used minimally since. Mileage now 21.000 or so. It had a carb strip down and service in April 2013 by Victory Motorcycles in Camden. but has not been used since.
The machine will need minor restoration but represents an ideally opportunity to buy a proper bike without knurled nuts and incorrect bits. It's had about half an hour with some wax and chrome cleaner. It is a good bike. and US specification ( wide Bars. ) It originally had a chrome tank. The green and white looks really nice and was colour of the spare tank when we bought it! a US colour? The bike start first kick.

New Tyres ( still on new TT100's but dried out! )
A variety of chip marks
Rev counter has stopped working after spider nested in it. See photo.
Needs a thorough clean of all alloy and battery tray cleaning and painting up
Back mudguard has a couple of pits ( see picture )
Headlight bowl was pattern replacement 25 years ago.
A great and last opportunity.
Bike is currently in Spalding but will return to London !
