Description
Didn't think I could ever type this. however it is time to send her on her way and try something new.
I have owned this bike for three years. and well I have loved every moment of my tenure of ownership. everything about this bike is amazing to me but I must sell her so lets get on with it I suppose.
lets get started with the description.
do you own ear plugs? you will need them. sweet mother of Jesus the glorious howl out of her at full chat is a wondrous thing to behold. if you wind her up to full rpm that's not blood coming from your ears. That is them crying tears of joy because they have heard god.
an absolute joy to ride. truly amazing
I have heard people say the riding position is cramped and there is no room to move. well that's because you sit where you are supposed to sit. none of this wishy washy. Japanese idea of "sit where you are comfortable". hell no you sit where you are supposed to sit on this machine god dammit! and to be honest she is quite comfortable. I live in Swansea and regularly visit my parents in Belfast on her. I'm 6'2" and to be honest a 5/6 hour run is achievable without too many aches. hell even touring is possible. (the luggage is not for sale lol)
extras-
silmoto half system - £1000 when new carbon intake covers - £200 carbon airbox side panels - £50 gilles rearsets -£350 (incredibly necessary if you are taller than 5'5") tail tidy and indicators dark smoked screen aftermarket radiator bracket to stop radiator from cracking at mounting point a previous owner painted the belly pan red. I quite like it
she also has a 525 chain conversion and a quick change sprocket. this allows you to change the chain and sprockets in 10 minutes as opposed to an hour and also massively reduces the price of a chain and sprocket set
that's about it I think
she has a full service history by M. V. Agusta mechanics. and in my short tenure I have had only one issue. the day I bought it the evil datatool alarm died. so I had that professionally removed. because they cause nothing but trouble. ask the owners groups. M. V. Agusta have even told dealerships not to install them anymore. because they get too hot and then break. Other than that ownership has been plain sailing. joyous plain sailing. oh the carbon side panels below the tank in the first picture have been replaced with the original silver ones as the carbon ones shown weren't up to scratch so I got rid of them.
mileage is 20500. this will probably go up before the sale. as I am using her every day. If you would like any more photos of her just send me a message and ill send you some more photos. I will be sad to see her go but I bought another mv engine a wee while ago with the plan of building another one so I don't need two.
tyres are Bridgestone BT023's with 4mm tread on the front and 5mm on the rear good for another 2k I would say
she has a few marks but that's understandable for her age. nothing severe I've tried to show them in the pictures
MOT'd till september
don't hesitate to send me a message with any questions.
cash on collection
