Bike was purchased new from Chester Harley Davidson in September 2012
There is over £5000 worth of parts on this bike. it's been designed not stand to out but to the astute among you will notice a lot has been changed to really clean up the look of a stock Sportster. No expense spared on parts and this bike has been designed to be rider! Trust me!
It's not just been made to look like a cafe racer but actually handles very well (for a heavy harley) with all new progressive suspension progressive rate springs. RSD Pre-load adjusters. progressive suspension adjustable 12 inch shocks
The wheels have been changed to a 17inch x 4. 5 Harley Davidson chrome spoked wheel with 170/60 17 on the rear (which people say can't be done) with no scrubbing with a soft Dunlop Qualifier Tyre. Front is a 19inch Ultimate spoked rim with the possibility of running dual discs up front and a Dunlop Sportsmax tyre 110/80 19
The bike has run a couple of exhausts but for performance and sound nothing matches the quality of the AKRAPOVIC full system which pops. bangs and looks awesome! This is matched with the RSD velocity stack air intake which again is a billet work of art. in black! We decided to use the Vance and Hines FUELPAK to get the fuelling right with the extra air being pumped through the engine! The plan was always todo a 1250cc conversion on this bike so we were undecided to what management we were going to run so the fuelpak does exactly what we needed it to do! Also has the subtle translogic side dash with temp. revs and clock
To get this bike to the way it looks it has been treated to some of the best sportster parts available on the market courtesy of Roland Sands Design. this includes. the cafe racer seat. clip on handlebars. headlight relocation. LED warning lights. black ops grips. gear shifter. fork brace. belt cover. moto pegs. we also used a Harley Davidson folding side mount numberplate holder that has been chopped and re manufactured to sit in a lot better position (not sticking out of the back of the bike) with led number plate light
There is probably a lot I've forgotten to mention but this bike has had some serious money and man hours. mocking up the rear wheel. welding and reshaping the fender and finishing is over a weeks work getting that right!
Paint was done by ourselves and looks great! Gives it that retro look but with the smooth feel of fresh clearcoat. all photos show the paint before it was machine polished!
We will be doing a border on the side number boards just to make you aware!
All modifications and stages of the build are documented by photos including all receipts
We can offer all these services to anyone's bikes including the 170 rear conversion!
Bike has just under 1000miles. all local and all in the dry. apart from once I got caught in a shower but it got cleaned even more that day!
