Listing this rare 1961 BMW R27. Look at all 71 photo's below this description before bidding. This was recently found sitting for a long time in a private collection. The motor spins over when you kick the kick lever but it hasn't been started in some time so it is being listed as a non-running full restoration project, as I do not know what all it needs to get running again. Not a numbers matching bike but there is a title for it that matches the frame and vin plate number, see photos. Some parts like the battery cover, part of the air box, etc., is missing, see photos. The paint has blemishes, nicks, dents, etc, like the tank looks painted with a brush with flame job underneath, and tank box door is zip tied on, see photos. There are nicks, blemishes, pits, dents, rust, scratches, etc., and parts may be missing, loose, lightly on, need cleaned, fixed, rebuilt, restored or replaced, see all detailed 71 photos below for yourself.
