1939 Triumph Tiger 70 2H Single Cylinder 250cc

Beautiful and rare 1939 Triumph Tiger 70 2H Single Cylinder 250cc motorcycle. Beautiful tank top panel with oil pressure gauge and ammeter.
Total restoration finished in 2017. Good quality restoration with all correct parts and nuts and bolts. All new bearings, cables, and bushings for girder fork. Gas tank, fenders, tool box are in great shape. Chrome is good. Paint is good. Only thing if you want a concourse machine I would repaint the gas tank. Beautiful pinstriping on rims and fenders. Clear title. Correct Amal carburetor, lever controls, 8 inch headlight, fogged headlight glass, Altette horn, Smiths speedometer, Lycett seat, and even the correct Lodge spark plug. Frame: TL 6664 (TL is correct Triumph Lightweight frame for this model) Engine: 92H16508 (9 prefix means year 1939. 2H is model code. 16508 is engine number) If you know the history prewar Triumph frame and engine numbers do not match. Another challenge is Triumph factory was bombed in second world war on 14-November-1940. So all records were burnt. These pre-war Triumphs are hard to find. At this year Vegas auction two pre-war Triumphs sold for 31900 and 46200. This Triumph is in good home with my other collection. I want it gone to a good home.
