Description
1941 Harley big twin flathead U model.
Starts easily like most flatheads, and runs well. Aluminum heads, Linkert M-51, I'm selling this bike for a friend so I don't know all the details but I see a good original vin number, matching belly numbers 41-0247, correct forging numbers for 1941 on the frame YE-761 E, fork TC-20TF #5, and correct date code on the trans. C1. It looks like a lot of
original parts went into this restoration which I understand started from a fairly complete bike.
The rear fender is a reproduction and the front may be as well given how nice the underside is. The rest of the bike looks like OEM Harley or nice reproduction. I try to take good close up pics and if you want something specific let me know. 1941 is a very desirable year for big twin Harleys and it's not a knucklehead but it checks most of the boxes.
Bike is in Santa Barbara, Ca. and is available for inspection anytime. Payment by cash, bank transfer or cashiers check drawn on a bank with a local branch. Bike not released until funds clear.
