Description
For sale is a beautifully restored 1970 BSA A65 Thunderbolt, a classic British motorcycle that combines vintage charm with reliable performance. This bike is in excellent condition, ready for both collectors and enthusiasts.
History: This bike sat for years in an outbuilding due to a minor issue that the original owner couldn't diagnose after purchasing it new from a dealership in Portland, Oregon. It was then bought for restoration, with the top end opened up for evaluation and all engine components found to meet factory tolerances. The bike spent several years in storage in John Day, Oregon, until I purchased it in 2019 with 5,378 original miles.

•Frame and Components: Touched up to maintain its classic look.
•Seat: Upholstered in black vinyl for a clean and comfortable ride.
•Instrumentation: Includes a new speedometer and ammeter in the headlamp bucket, with the original speedometer showing the original miles included in the photos.
•Engine: 654 CC OHV parallel twin with a single Amal carburetor.
•Transmission: 4-speed, right-side shift.

•Title: The bike has a corrected title, ensuring all legal documentation is up-to-date.
•Odometer: The original speedometer was replaced due to being locked up, but I have included photos of the original showing the 5,378 miles.
•Matching Numbers: Both the frame and engine numbers match, confirming the bike's authenticity.
