Own an iconic piece of superbike history! Built for one year only for the sole purpose of homologating the platform for American Superbike racing, the 1000cc 1982 Suzuki Katana GS1000SZ is one of the most coveted and desirable sportbikes from the 1980s.
This all-original, unrestored example is complete and intact, including semi-unobtanium components like the black-chromefour-into-two exhaust system, original mirrors and turn signals, even the fullrear fender.
Runs perfectly, needs nothing, and everything—including the factory anti-dive system, as well as every light and switch—works exactly as it should. Recent mechanical refresh ($4K, work orders and receipts available upon request) included replacing the battery, rebuilding the carbs, resetting the valves, servicing the brakes and rebuilding the factory anti-dive system, installing new tires, and more.
New NOS stator cover, TSCC emblems for both sides of the engine, and replacement seat cover are included but not installed.
