BSA “Regency” Men’s Vintage 1950s Bicycle

Rides very nicely, brakes, gears and tyres work. Not so sure about the dynamo lights.
This bike is beautiful to look at and ride. My late dad has kept it in his garage for many many years and unfortunately it isn't used or being refurbished like it deserves to be. It clearly had age marks/rust marks but hopefully that could be sorted by the new owner. Unsure of the actual year … I can't seem to see anything on the hub ….except for “59”? Could that mean 1959?
