Yamaha TZR 250, in White

Hello and welcome to this sale for my Father's Yamaha TZR 250.
I will do my best to give a overview of the bike, but I pre warn you that neither my Father or I are motorcyclists so my knowledge of the technical shenanigans is very limited.
This bike is for sale along with his other as he is now looking to downsize his collection of cars/bikes (and being honest would probably like the space back in his house where they sit!).
Purchased last year both his bikes were bought as glorified house ornaments (who doesn't want a 80s icon in their study right!). But now I think the time has come to de clutter.
As you can see it's a very striking TZR with super retro Marlboro decals which look simply amazing on the bike.
The bike itself appears to be in incredibly good original condition and even has its little original tool kit under the seat still.
The bike starts and runs very nicely indeed, we did have to replace the old battery for a new one last year as it was not holding a charge.
When you turn the ignition on you hear the valve (YPMS?) Operating correctly so I'm informed by a motorcyclists friend (something to do with low down torque of the engine??). There is fuel in the tank and it doesn't leak so that's good! I'd say there has been a historic repair carried out on the tank (again my friend tells me this was a common issue with the way the bike stood). This repair is very good in my eyes and you have to look very closely indeed to see anything.
As stated this bike is a Japanese import and came into the UK 01/06/2023. This has a 1KT frame number.
When it was purchased the bike had a current Mot test, but has since expired. It has not been presented for test and see no good reason why it wouldn't pass or need very little work to obtain a new mot.
The bike has virtually brand new Bridgestone tyres front and rear and doesn't appear to need or want for anything.
Both of these bikes are looking for new homes and have spent the past year or so indoors in his study enjoying a carpeted floor and central heating (you get the picture).
