Honda NSR250 MC28 SE

My NSR 250 MC28 SE for sale. I've owned this lovely little bike for around 9 years. It's not mint, it's tidy and honest and wants for nothing. 42000 km (26000 miles) I'm 6ft tall and 60 years old so I don't go too far on it now.
During my ownership it's had the shock rebuild by TW Suspension and fitted with a F3 spec spring better suited for someone 12 stone plus. Forks rebuilt the same with .75kg linear springs. It's had steering and linkage bearings too. The chassis is perfect.
The engine has had attention over the years too. New pistons and rings etc. (Pistons have 3 tiny cooling holes for the exhaust port bridges). Then last year a brand new (not NOS) crank from Honda via GT Motorcycles in Plymouth. It got a new (dry) clutch basket too. Tyres, pads, chain and sprockets all very good or new.
Fairings are original but not perfect. I was tempted to replace with Chinese but it has patina and would lose the originality, see pictures. Mods from standard are an MC21 flywheel to give a little more ignition advance, the original is included. (You can have the old crank and clutch basket too).
The exhaust headers have had their restriction removed too, so it makes around 50 hp. But these bikes with there clever computer control pull top gear from 40 mph or less cleanly to the redline. It's very flexible.
All in all a good clean straight bike you can ride. It's exactly as it should be and not a freshly imported bike with the remains of the air filter in the crankcase etc.
