1941 INDIAN FOUR CYLINDER MODEL 441
For sale is a gorgeous 1941 Indian Four Cylinder Model 441 motorcycle restored by Mike Kane of Sturgis, South Dakota. Mike purchased this motorcycle in the early 1990s out of Spokane, Washington, then performed a complete restoration of the bike.
Most of the major components on this motorcycle are correct and original to the bike, including the matching frame and engine, transmission, front and rear fenders, fuel tanks, front end, handlebars, speedometer, wheel/brake assemblies, etc. Machine work on the engine was performed by Larry Struck of Groveland, California and assembly was done by Dennis Young. The motorcycle starts and runs beautifully and is a wonderful rider.
The fit and finish on this bike is also remarkably nice. The fuel tanks were disassembled and nickel plated, which makes them corrosion resistant and super clean inside. There's a scuff on the toolbox and minor kink in the front fender that I didn't notice until it was pointed out (see photos). Otherwise, there's just not much to pick on the bike.
