1936 INDIAN FOUR CYLINDER MODEL 436
For sale is a gorgeous 1936 Indian Four Cylinder Model 436 motorcycle restored by Carl Olson of Carl's Cycle Supply of Aberdeen, South Dakota. Carl built this bike in the early 2000's, after which the bike was displayed in a private collection in North Dakota.
The engine was rebuilt at the same time by Bob's Indian Sales and Supply of Etters, Pennsylvania (Bob and Robin Markey).
Most of the major components on this motorcycle appear to be correct and original. The motorcycle starts and runs beautifully and is a wonderful rider. The fit and finish on the bike is also remarkably nice. I can't speak to the frame number. I wasn't able to locate it and I assume it's buried under paint.
