California titled with current registration. Ride it home or anywhere. Thanks to the factory 50 hp parallel liquid cooled twin cylinder engine and 6-speed, it will cruise on freeways effortlessly. Starts, idles, and runs like it should. Original twin upswept expansion chambers, heat shields, and exhaust stingers. OEM storage rack mounted as shown. *At high RPM's the engine sounds similar to a GP 250 race bike from the past. Wherever you ride or park around other motorcyclists, be prepared for an audience due to the rarity and unique sound of this TDR.
Recent service includes: replaced pistons and rings, removal and cleaning of power valves, replaced power valve seals, new carburetor rebuild kits, new fuel valve rebuild kit, new OEM Yamaha fork dust covers “gaiters”, new fork fluid, new brake pads and fluid, new Michelin “Road Classic” tubeless tires. New OEM hand grips. Turn signals are aftermarket LEDs, but original OEMs included.
Paint and graphics all original. Anodized rims original. Front fender original. Seat is original without tears. Soft cushion, not hard. (2nd NOS seat available for purchase as a spare).
No rust in fuel tank due to coating in the past. OEM oil injection pump works properly.
Has some minor scratches and scrapes consistent with age and storage, but no dents.
