This is not a replica of the Classic Bike Project Harris. This is the actual motorcycle built by Classic Bike magazine throughout its famous 10-part Project Harris series during 2009/2010. There is only one Project Harris, and this is it. Built around a genuine Harris Performance frame supplied by Brian Crichton, the project was designed to recreate the appearance and riding experience of a Yamaha TZ400 Grand Prix machine whilst remaining fully road legal. The build was documented in detail over 10 consecutive issues of Classic Bike magazine, covering every stage from the bare frame through engine rebuilding, chassis assembly, rolling-road tuning, painting and final road testing before being awarded to the competition winner.
