Honda Cbx 1000 Z - UK Bike

Honda CBX 1000 Z. This is a UK registered bike from 1978, the holy grail. An increasingly rare opportunity to acquire a very original, early UK supplied 1978 Honda CBX 1000.

This is a honest and unmolested bike, and still retains a high level of originality. Details such as date stamped brake lines, original wheel trims and factory stamped components including side panels, indicators, headlight and front mudguard are all still present.

The engine runs perfectly exactly as a well preserved, example should. The bike provenance is it was owned by the same keeper from 1983 to 2022, during which time it formed part of a private collection and was stored within a museum environment. The long term custodianship helps explain its condition today.

I acquired the bike in 2022 from a short term owner and it is now registered in my name with a current V5 present. In total the bike has had 9 former keepers.

It even has the original tool kit under the seat.
