Triumph Speed Triple 1050

Let's be honest. if you're reading this listing then you know the heritage that comes with the Triumph Speed Triple 1050. it's a mixture of outright performance. bottom end torque. beautiful styling and a high level of comfort from an iconic bike with many more attributes to offer.

This 1050 is a 2005 model with carefully selected upgrades to not only improve upon the aesthetic. but to increase the running performance.

As you can see from the photos this Triple is far from your OE spec. every aspect of the bike that I felt needed improvement has received a tweak or upgraded part to ensure it both looks and handles as it should. She has also been treated to fresh oil & filter. front and rear brake pads and a fresh brake bleed prior to selling.

With regards to the body it has received Genuine Triumph:

With regards to performance upgrades it has received:

Mivv X-Cone exhaust. this was purchased to lower the centre of gravity and save a bit of weight over the original set-up which it does very well. it also features a removable baffle and custom fabricated mounting bracket for the rearset assembly. She currently runs with an Arrow re-map to ensure fuelling and MAF is at an optimum. not to mention the slight increase in BHP and throttle response.

Halfox Rearsets are a copy of the Sato's when it comes to the styling. and are every bit as good in performance.

Shorty Black & Gold levers.

Braided Brake Hoses.

Snake Skin Tank Grips. great with a pillion and for hanging off the bike as they offer a really soft durable compound.

Tail Tidy and Mini Indicators.

Crash Bobbins All Round.

Front fork compression & rebound tweak to allow for a slightly greater stability during the corners.

In Summary:

There's not a lot more to say about this bike other than that you really won't be disappointed. it's one of the finest examples I have ever had the pleasure of owning and modifying for the better. For an 05 she looks absolutely fantastic. there is a slight scratch line in the clock face but that's all I can think of. Never been on track or abused on road. I take a lot of pride in my bikes and remain very particular about their up-keep. It really is worth every penny.

If for example you're someone who may be concerned about making the leap from a sports to a naked. or are looking at the less powerful 675. or even a mass produced Japanese equivalent… all I can say is don't. it can hang with the very best if you want it to. in fact it may just surprise you.
