Description
For sale is my a7 shooting star.
the bike is registered 1960. Frame number GA7-8794 Engine number CA7 SS 68##.
The engine has been completely reconditioned. crankcases vapour blasted a few threads repaired. crankshaft reground with new shells and main bearings. cylinder rebored. new pistons. head refurbished with new valve seats and valve guides. suitable for unleaded fuel. rockers refaced along with followers and cam.
The mag has been reconditioned with new armature. and the auto advance has been rebuilt with new gear. all the work has been done by professionals. Bowden Engineering for the motor who i would highly recommend.
The bike had been cosmetically restored before i purchased it. the frame has been powder coated and the wheels rebuilt with stainless rims and spokes with new tyres.
The tin ware has been resprayed this looks fine but on closer inspection is not the best of jobs. the fuel tank has panels painted silver. but these should have been chromed. the rear number plate unit is black and should be painted the same colour as the bike.
The bike was started for the first time today. runs and sounds fine. but will need a fine tune and running in. I will be taking the bike for an mot test this week.
Reason for selling is I am after a Yam RD 350A or B.
Any questions please ring or email. thank you
