Lambretta GP 200 1969

1969 Italian GP200 with correct 22/2 frame numbers. This was raced in the 80s by the late Tony Russo of the PM tuning team.
I bought it as a bare frame which I restored and rewelded as I wanted to build an original spec bike but managed to find the original bodywork so decided to rebuild it as a road going tribute.

Race engine long gone but has a correct Italian GP200 engine which has been stage 4 tuned and rebuilt and has a period 30mm Delorto and big bore exhaust. have test riden it on private land (not registered) and goes very well. Has correct italian headset. disc brake. rear light lens. plastic toolbox etc. everythings been rebuilt with the best items I could get hold of. race crank. AF hub. racemans. 12V electronic ignition. all new. Receipts for best part of a grand.

Needs MOT and registering and comes with LCGB dating certificate so should be no problem

Rare to find original race bikes in any condition these days especially one built around an original GP200. Keep as is or put back to original. viewing recommended obviously. located in Bury St Edmunds Suffolk.
