Engine-rebuilt by Brian Silver of Moto Marianna
All new correct tolerance SKF bearings. new big end with Ducati rod. shimmed correctly. Head has lead free seats. new valves and guides with MPB circlips as used now by the factory on all 8 valve engines. increases service intervals and clearances never change-a real must have with Desmo's!New forged Borgo piston. Castings vapoured and outers polished. filled with the correct single grade "40" oil
Rolling chassis
Fully rebuilt. frame checked for straightness by Ashford Motoliner. very high quality finish powder coating. new swing arm bushes and pin and headset. Forks rebuilt with new staunchions and correct size seals. rear Marzocchi's rebuilt with factory seal kit.
Wheels rebuilt with original polished Borrani alloy rims. stainless spokes and vapoured and polished hubs with new bearings. new HS spec chain and sprockets. modern avon tyres and tubes. italian Paoli pillion rests. megaphone silencer to factory race dimensions but with baffles.
Original electrical switches with new high spec wiring and electronic 12 volt regulator. new speedo. original and rare. not reproduction. Veglia competition tacho with the correct and original separate gearbox tacho drive.
Original seat rebuilt with new foam and cover utilising all the original alloy trim and rear badge. side panels and tank high quality paint work. tank has been pressure tested. re-chromed and ethanol proof sealed.
All fixings in stainless. will always look perfect!
Bike is better than new with much higher quality paining and plating and ready for enjoying.

Ducati only made a few hundred of this model so very rare and beautifull. if you don't want to ride it. just park it in the lounge and look at it!
I also will include with the bike the original performance reducing Silentium silencer. the original front exhaust pipe. original speedo with non-existant damping. original pillion footrests. 6 volt regulator. and spokes!
I do have a special factory race internally tapered inlet manifold and performance Del-Orto PHF carb. correctly jetted and ready to fit. separate negotiation for this item.
