Chassis No starts R1489 Black and Silver
1960 Norton Slimline featherbed frame fitted with Truimph pre-unit 650 motor and Truimph slickshift gearbox.
Engine totally built up. T120 crankcases. rebuilt crank. New conrods. balanced crank. new main bearings. New standard barrel and pistons 9-1.
Cylinder head 9 stud splayed head 1966-68.
Colsybro guides. valves and springs fitted.
New camshafts supplied by Nourish Racing.
R-Type follwers (Z cam inlet 305 deg. exhaust).
New cam bushes.
Morgo rotary oil pump.
Special rocker oil feed.
Alloy billet SWMP plate.
Ignition - Electronic ignition (Lucas Rita).
Primary side - clutch - belt drive supplied by Tony Hayward. all new.
Sparx 12V alternator/powerbox regulator.
Smiths rev counter and speedo. magnetic type. Genuine New Smiths built up by Gagg and Sons.
Petrol tank - Manx 5 gallon alloy baffled with Monza cap.
Slickshift gearbox 4 speed with new bearings.
Engine plates - Dural aluminium.
Custom seat - Black suede and leather.
Wheel hubs - Highly polished/painted. new bearings.
Wheels - 18" valanced polished alloy by Excel. Laced up with polished butted stainless steel spokes.
Bridgestone tyres.
Front end - Top and bottom alloy yokes. Norton short road holder forks. Commando twinleading shoe brake.
Chain Guard - footpegs - handlebars - light and speedo brackets - petrol tank strap - fasteners all polished stainless steel including wheel spindles.
Mudguards - Genuine Manx style
Exhausts - Sweptback with Goldstar silencers.
Hagon rear shocks.
Fibre glass central oil tank with battery tray.
Old and new log books. original registration number (non transferable)
The bike has had a complete nut and bolt rebuild and now has covered a genuine 7000 dry miles.
The bike has been dry stored for the last 3 1/2 years. The pictures show a true reflection of its condition.
