Description
This rare model was acquired in South Carolina. USA and still bears a South Carolina Title. The 1954 BSA sales brochure (included) states: "Designed specifically for English-style reliability trials and kindred sporting events. The BSA model B34 has a medium compression motor of similar layout to B33 but with aluminum barrel and head. providing cool running as well as low weight and center of gravity which. with the high ground clearance provided. are essential for this class of work". Also included is a BSA Owners Club dating certificate indicating it is a matching numbers bike. Included also. is a letter from the Gold Star Owners Club stating: "There were only around 70 of these machines made. and virtually all of these machines went to the USA. Although similar to the Gold Star model. they were intended for trials use".
The gearbox is "STD". It has a 21" front wheel (19" rear). folding foot pegs. and a skid plate.
This bike has been completely restored. All fittings cad plated. Chrome parts either rechromed or replaced. Engine completely rebuilt. Many new parts such as: rear fender. fuel tank. wiring harness. exhaust pipe and muffler. rims. pokes. and nipples. rear brake drum. horn. voltage regulator. etc. A complete file with all receipts is included.
