Ducati Sport Classic 1000 Biposto 2008 + Cafe Racer + Near Mint Condition

2008 Ducati Sport Classic Biposto ( two seater ) in the classic Burnt Yellow with black Monza Stripes Regretfully I have to sell my Italian beauty.

Make no mistake this is a fantastic bike combining beautiful Retro Cafe Racer looks with a powerful modern engine. frame. suspension and brakes. It not only looks good and has the performance to match. But if you know your bikes I don't need to tell you any of that!
The Biposto Sport Classic was the rarest of the range and it cleverly has the look of a Monoposto single seater but with a removeable rear cowl which reveals a very comfortable pillion seat (see picture 8) - two bikes in one!
It is as factory-standard as possible. even down to the factory oil and safety stickers however there are a sympathetic upgrades made to improve the look. ride and feel of the bike;

When the Sport Classic was first announced a major criticism was that the clip-ons were too low and too far forward leading to aching wrists and the feeling of being spreadeagled on the tank. To address this the bike has new bars and billet yoke making for a comfortable reach but without loosing the "Cafe Racer" angle of the grips (Original parts supplied with sale)
Original mirrors which looked like they came off of a Milanese Taxi-Cab have been replaced with Oberon "Cafe Racer" items that perform well and look great (Original parts supplied with sale)
Finally the exhaust has been replaced with Conti replica Keihans. This not only mirrors the Sport Classic's inspiration ( the Contis on a Ducati 750GT - see last picture ) but completes the bike bringing out the Ducati bass notes of the engine as well as the rasp and bark (but at idle purrs like a kitten to keep the neighbours happy ). It turns a great bike into a fantastic one! (Original exhaust supplied with sale ) I have done about 3000 miles on the bike and it currently has about 7475 on the clock (this may go up slightly before sale ). In that time she has given me zero trouble. always starting and has never let me down. I have never ridden in rain (except when caught out in a shower) and certainly never in snow or when salt is on the roads. It has spent all its life under cover and is regularly cleaned. It has no scratches. no chips. no dents. no scrapes as far as I can see. I am too old to thrash it and it has never been near a track. In short it is a solid bike that you will never regret buying - you will only regret selling it later! Having said that it has done 7400 real world miles so there might be something I have missed - but nothing major if at all. Rear tyre was replaced 300 miles ago and front has at least 2000 miles left in it.
Full service history and all documents. bills. MOTs etc. supplied. all booklets from Ducati dealer as well as two main keys and the all important Red Key along with the Ducati engine and electrical id card. I even have the original Ducati Sports Classic Brochure from 2008.
