1972 Triumph TR6R Trophy Sport (Registered in 1973).
Matching Frame and Engine numbers.
650cc.
MOT and 12 months Tax (Tax Exempt as V5 states Historic Vehicle and Bike has VMCC Authentication).
Work carried out in last couple of years (600 miles). New Carb. Wheel Bearings. Piston's. Valves and guides. small end bushes. rear dampers. front forks rebuilt. New seat.
I purchased this Triumph two years ago after a long search with the idea of riding it well into my retirement as I have a bit of a passion of old Brit machinery be it two or four wheel. Following an operation on my right hand I can no longer consider to ride the bike as I cannot use the brake or throttle effectively. I even had to get my son to get it off the centre stand this morning so I could photograph it for the advert. So it needs to go to a new rider who will enjoy it as much as I have over the last year or two.
The bike is not a show winner. so you will not be afraid to use it. but is in very nice usable condition. having got my son to get it out of the garage for me after 5 months of inactivity it started third kick. I have always run it dry after a run and added SEAFOAM to the petrol to stop it from going stale. It was a bit smokey on the left hand pipe for a couple of minutes but then cleared and ran smoothly.
