This is the ultimate big fella's trials bike. Not for the little lads. Nothing sounds and looks as cool as a big Triumph twin roaring through a section when the tiny cubs and bantams cannot get near it!
Now then! Grab your chance to get your hands on this yet another of the ultimate very rare Triumph trials bikes built by a still-living legend, David Varney (he's from Yorkshire and has a beard). Mr. Varney is a real lovely fella and is probably the most trusting, nicest fella I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Now, I would sooner sell you this of mine, but I think Mr. Varney still has one of these fantastic machines for sale should you want one brand new. Obviously, a little more money than this one, but I'm sure Mr. Varney will look after you.
This one has only been used about 6 times since we bought it from Mr. Varney, so save a small fortune and grab yourself a bargain! These bikes can only go up in value as time goes on!
This bike is very, very trick in every way! We just spent hundreds of pounds with another (dare I say!? Probably better than Varney) bearded engineer improving the bike to suit our riding. It's funny how all these engineers all seem to have beards? I might try and grow a big bushy one myself. It might make me more of an engineerist. But I doubt I'll ever get to the lovely standards of Mr. Varney—he is one heck of a fella. A few pre-65 lads often talk about him as the saint of the trials world!
This bike is very trick. It's probably the best Triumph twin trials bike available right now for this money. There are others available at more and less money than this. But this one has been built by a fella with a beard in a shed that knows what he's doing. They say he's a proper engineer. I would say different—he's far, far better than that! This bike rides like a heavier Beta or Gas Gas—it's like cheating in the game of pre-65 trials. These bikes cost almost £9k from the fella with the beard, and as we say, this one has been improved with lots spent.
This bike has had the lot done to it! Right foot brake (left foot if you want), PVL, trick oil filter system. The list goes on and on! You will not find a better twin, ready to ride and road registered with tax and MOT.
