Description
A very tidy Kawasaki H2 750. I took this bike in part exchange against one of my show bikes & wouldn't have taken it if it wasn't this good. it appears to be a very honest bike that wouldn't cost an arm & a leg to make mint as it has all the correct parts fitted with the exception of the rear wheel. the wheels have been rebuilt and look really good. ront wheel is stamped 2B. (FEB 72) which is correct. however the rear shows 3D (APRIL 73) & is not correct. the pipes are original with very good chrome. the paint on the frame is pretty good & could be original as it still has the headstock label & chain oiler label on. the chain oiler is present & working. the seat is original and has been powder coated & fitted with a correct cover & genuine trims. very nice). the body paint would benefit from a good paint job but is ok for a rider. My wife and I have ridden the bike for 10 miles this morning and she rides great. the engine & gear box are sound and there were no worrying noises. the engine is clean & the cases are good with no cracks that will polish up well. the frame & engine numbers are correct & only 5 apart (EG 01000 & 01005). it has recently had new chain and sprockets fitted so no worries there. This is being sold purely for the reason that I have others. Basically this is a very good machine on a K plate that is ready to ride. MOT till August (no road tax but this is free as the bike is in the historic category). The mileage shown cannot be guaranteed as I only have supporting evidence dating back to 2001 when the bike entered the UK. The reserve price is set quite low for a bike of this quality. I will listen to serious offers from genuine people. viewing welcome by appointment. If you just wish to view only I suggest you go to a museum. Lastly I would like cash on collection. simply for the purpose if your not happy you can just walk away and no monies have changed hands.
