LAMBRETTA GP 200 ELECTRONIC ITALIAN 1970
THIS IS THE VERY RARE GP 200 ELECTRONIC ONE OF ONLY A FEW LEFT. THE MODEL IS THE EVEN RARER UK SPEC WITH BATTERY TRAY AND THE CDI MOUNTING BRACKET ITS A 1970 MODEL 22/2*2584. DGM64410M ALL NUMBERS CORRECT.
COMES WITH LAMBRETTA CLUB OF GB CERTIFICATE.
I PURCHASED THIS ITEM ON THE 16 MAY THIS YEAR FOR £4000 IN BITS TO RESTORE AND THEN SELL. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED BELOW IS THE DESCRIPTION WHEN I PURCHASED HER AND WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE BEFORE IT WAS RESTORED.
THE SCOOTER COST £4000 TO BUY.
THE PAINT COST £1120 THAT INCLUDED FULL BEAD BLASTED ANY REPAIRS AND ETCHED PRIMED AND PAINT FIRST CLASS JOB.
I THEN SPENT £1000 ON PARTS NEW BGM LIGHT FLYWHEEL BGM STATOR AND CDI AND MBD COVER ALL MADE TO LOOK ORIGINAL AS PER THE FACTORY CASA REAR PLASTIC GRILL PETROL FLAP AND LIGHT RIM NOT IN PHOTO. CEV LENS AND REAR LENS ENGINE IS VERY SPECIAL RAPIDO AF 205 CLASSIC KIT MATCHED AND PORTED DELLORTO 25 MM CARB AND INLET BY READSPEED ALL JETTED BY THEM ELECTRICS BGM UPRATED BGM CLUTCH CHAIN SLIPPER TOP AND BOTTOM AND BGM AIR FILTER AND THIS ALL MATCHED TO THE NEW MBD CLUB MAN EXHAUST.
ITS THE BEST ON THE MARKET ITS A WORK OF ART GEARS SORTED TO 4.9 RATIO STARTS FIRST TIME ALL NEW BEARINGS AND SEALS ALL FROM MBD I HAVE ALL THE RECEIPS AS TO WHAT WAS PURCHASED AND COST.
ALSO THREE NEW TYRES AND SPARE WHEEL CARRIER.
I HAVE SPENT A FORTUNE ON THIS SCOOTER ALSO INCLUDED IS THE ORIGINAL EXHAUST NEW COST £140 THE ORIGINAL RED CDI AND STATOR AND THE ORIGINAL SH22 CARB THIS CARB WAS READY TO FIT WITH THE EXHAUST BUT I SPENT £450 TO UPDATE TO A 25 MILL AND MBD EXHAUST.
THE SCOOTER HAS JUST HAD A MOT AND IS INSURED AND HAS A CERTIFICATE FROM LAMBRETTA CLUB GB AND HAS JUST BEEN REG WITH THE DVLA TODAY JUST AWAITING NO PLATE.
I HAVE TRIED MY BEST TO KEEP IT AS ORIGINAL AS POSSIBLE AND I HAVE SPENT LOADS ON THE RESTORATION.
PLEASE LOOK AT THE LEAST OF PARTS THAT CAME WITH HER WHEN I GOT IT AND WHAT I GOT IT JUST WENT ON AND ON
THIS SCOOTER STANDS ME IN £6200 AND I WILL BE LOOKING AT £7000 FOR THIS RARE MACHINE OR I WILL JUST KEEP IT CAN ONLY GO UP AS ITS THE RAREST OF ALL LAMBRETTA MODELS AS NO ONE REALY KNOWS HOW MANY WERE MADE AND HOW MANY WERE GP WITH A BATTERY TRAY COULD ONLY BE A FEW LEFT RARE AS A SPITFIRE.

UK spec GP200 Electronic frame with battery tray and CDI mounting bracket
Frame number: 22/2 * 2584 - - * DGM 644 10M
Currently unregistered. 22/2 frame (the number would make this a 1970 “J” registration). Frame has the correct frame numbers including the DGM 644 10M stamp on it. Originally painted yellow ochre (still visible in places). Has battery tray and enough layers of paint over the years to make it an original UK market frame!
Bought as a bare frame in 1995 (from Dave Waddingham at DJ Scooters in Mansfield) and collected all the other parts over the years.
Bare unused GP200 engine casing (bought from Vic Saunders at one of the Market Harborough / Kettering Parts fairs). No engine number. stamped “Innocenti” inside and out. but probably SIL.
The scooter is about 95% complete. It includes some rare parts and lots of new/unused ones from Scooter Restorations. MB Developments. Andy Francis. AF Rayspeed etc.
All the parts shown in the photos are included.
Frame and panel work:
1970 GP200 Electronic frame:
Original mounting bracket for the red CDI box on the back of the frame above left hand foot board strut (see photo), Battery tray, Rear foot board struts had been cut off at some point in the past. but had been replaced by Dave Waddingham before I bought the frame and look straight, Leg shield supports look straight, Rear of frame between rear frame grill and light needs welding up (see photo) Side panels fit well, Lower steering cone missing, Correct frame and IGM numbers (as specified in Lambretta Restoration Guide. by Vittorio Tessera) Innocenti Choke lever, New Italian black plastic petrol tap lever, Scooter Restorations repro black plastic choke lever (very good quality copy) Innocenti air scoop, Innocenti alloy rear frame grill, Black plastic petrol flap (as originally fitted) – bought second hand from Tom Petch at one of the parts fairs. but I can't tell if it is Innocenti or SIL Casa “Innocenti “ rear frame badge, MB Developments stainless steel panel clip set (not in photo)
Headset:
Innocenti top and bottom headset, Bottom headset was cracked and has been alloy welded to repair it (by MB Developments) Headset top Speedometer ring threads need to be repaired other threads in good condition, Innocenti headset clamp, Original OSAM. 5 position ignition switch and key (not tested) Innocenti gear change (earlier version – splined end) and light switch support, Innocenti brake and clutch levers (very good condition) Original NOS GP200 90 mph Veglia speedometer (converted from kph) New Casa horn and dipswitch (black switches) White nylon throttle roller and gear change roller, Spare black gear change roller.

Asso piston. new AF Rayspeed cylinder head and gaskets. 22mm carburetor and manifold. marked “SPACO LC Delorto” GP200 gearbox GP gearbox endplate with “Innocenti” marklayshaft. gear selector and sliding dog (all Innocenti). new selector spring and balls, New Casa rear hub bearing and seal, New Tutto Lambretta top and bottom chain guides, New GP200 SIL clutch sprocket (47 tooth) from Scooter Restorations, Complete used clutch – will need new plates and springs, Side casing stamped “Innocenti” – good condition. but needs chrome stripping off, NOS Innocenti kick start buffer – from Scooter Restorations, NOS Innocenti Oil Level Plug (late GP type) – from Scooter Restorations, New Casa series - 3 kick start lever, MB Developments Stainless rear brake cable ferule, MB Developments Stainless clutch arm spring, NOS Innocenti clutch arm, MB Developments Stainless gear and clutch cable adjusters.

Tutto Lambretta excellent quality copy of Innocenti GP exhaust (as currently being sold by Scootopia) Oval shaped end of tail pipe, Marked “INNOCENTI – SC21 – IGM – 2105 S” Casa “U” bend - chromed.
Forks and suspension:
Innocenti GP200 forks (including original springs. rods and balls) Innocenti GP200 disk brake fork links, New Sebac front dampers, New Taffspeed adjustable rear shock absorber with alloy body and black spring.
Wheels and brakes:
Innocenti GP Disc Brake hub (see photos) Complete and in very good original condition (just a bit of surface rust on disc) No damage to either casting, Correct version for a GP without a grease nipple on the back plate, Includes “i” cap and grills, New disc brake grills, 2 Innocenti Wheel rims: One good condition. one average, Both halves of each rim stamped with Innocenti mark, Studs have dimples in the back of them, 1 Tutto Lambretta excellent copy reproduction Innocenti Wheel rim with “Innocenti” stamps and dimples on the back of the studs, One unused Michelin SM100 and inner tube, New rear hub. with screw out studs (bought from Andy Francis). Pattern. but marked Innocenti, New rear hub nut – excellent quality copy from Scooter Restorations, New rear brake shoes (Newfern), NOS Innocenti rear brake arm, New front and rear brake adjusters – with nut shaped adjuster (not thumbwheel) as originally fitted to late Italian GPs.
