Lambretta SX 200 1967

Listed here is an Italian. British registered from new Lambretta SX 200.

The scooter was first registered in Coventry on the 26th of May 1967 and was purchased new from Frettons Motorcycles (Coventry) by a Mr Vincent Browne. The old style log book. original keys and original Lambretta Concessionaires Service book still remain with the scooter.

Mr Browne owned the scooter and MOT. it every year up until his death in 2006. I would regularly see him on it in the 90s and once met him at the MOT station but he would not sell.

Since then it has two previous owners who thankfully did no cosmetic changes to the scooter but have maintained it well. recently having new piston. clutch plates. tyres and at some point 12v electronic ignition.

The body work is in exceptional condition. no rust. it rides really straight.

The paint is not original as Mr Browne decided to give the scooter a make over some years ago but in my opinion this does not detract from its lovely patina that only comes with a old machine like this.
