Triumph TR6SS Trophy 1962 Pre Unit

1962 last of the pre unit TR6SS Trophys.
All matching numbers Frame / Engine D18782 we also have for it a copy of the Triumph ownerclub works records.
Dispatched from the factory 19th June 1962 to Triumph corporation ( East Coast Distributor USA ). The works records also state that between 1962 and 1966 there were only 17 made during this period registered with the club.
This bike came back to the UK in 2006 and was restored by Clarks motorcycles the Triumph specialists all correct fittings inc. compertision mag etc.
The last owner has only ever used the bike on sunny days and it is only showing 175 miles on the clock.
We have recently recommissioned the Triumph and it runs and rides just as it should with a really strong and quiet engine. Starts very easily and will be a really nice rare Triumph for someone to have this coming summer.
There are some chrome blisters on the front rim and if it was going to be my bike I would probably have the front rim re chromed as its the only thing letting it down.
Most people know that matching number pre unit TR6ss are getting hard to find and some dealers are asking £9-10k for them.
This is a very good correct bike and a bargain £7450.00 ovno.
