Kawasaki S1 250 Triple 1972 H1 H2 KH Z Multiple Concours Winner

For sale is my UK supplied 1972 Kawasaki S1 250. It is currently taxed and tested but does of course carry historic status.
This bike had been off the road since the late 1970's and had covered less than 4000 miles when I bought it.
This was the absolute holy grail to me and i had looked for years to find an original matching numbers bike that had the important s1 only parts such as the correct pipes. carbs. hick liner barrels etc.
I set about doing a meticulous nut and bolt restoration to the very highest standard. I have done many restorations over the years but this is the very best and i left no stone unturned and had an absolutely no holds barred attitude to budget when doing this work. It has the correct engine and frame numbers. i'm codes and matching key nos for the ignition and steerng lock.
The engine was rebuilt with a new crank. The correct thick liner barrels were rebored. I located an as new original Kawasaki seat. The chrome. paint and all the details are as good as you can get and this has been vindicated by the many concours award that this bike has won at Kawasaki triples club rallies and Stafford classic bike show including the prestigious best in show at the Nottingham rally (the only 250 to ever win this!).
This is a super rare model of bike as it was not imported to the states and would satisfy the most discerning Kawasaki collector.
