Fully Restored Sunbeam S8

Sunbeam S8 500cc twin OHC

Fully restored Sunbeam S8 500cc straight line twin with a OHC Shaft driven in show room condition. Starting from the bottom. Wheels and tyres have been fully removed the rims have then been stripped and re-power coated in black and respoked in new stainless spokes then two brand new tyre put back on.
The bike has been completely stripped down and the frame also stripped and power-coated in black Matt to a high standard.
The engine has had a full rebuild with new Pistons rings and new gudgeon pins. iners Crank + shells. crank seals. iming chain. cylinder head been skimmed over head cam been done. i have had the new harder valve guides fitted so it can run on today's fuel rather than mixing fuel additive. I have also had a brand new carburetor fitted and had the distributor recondition with new oil seals fitted. New clutch and gearbox seals. Rewired to a 12 volt conversion.
The paintwork has been resprayed in the 50's Paint to keep the original look of the book but still very shiny and to a high standard.
The Registration mark indicates that the bike was originally registered in Birmingham so not too far away. I also have the original logbook and handbook that would of been given when the bike was new in the 1950. I also have the V5c form to comply with today's regulations in my name.
The bike is currently on Sorn. but don't let this put you off as it does not require a MOT and the TAX is nil so all you need is a license and insurance.
