Description
FOR SALE DUCATI 1098S Troy Bayliss Replica. 2008 Ducati. 0. 00 miles. mint bike with excellent paint job by GP Performance Paint. the bike has Full 70mm titanium Akrapovic Race System including the ECU and upgrade Filter from my R Model. It also has a carbon tank from the R model. it has all the S model upgrades. ohlins suspension shocks steering damper. plus the machi wheels. It runs. Looks & sounds amazing. it has the right amount of carbon as you can see in the photos. not to tacky. the bike has been on display in my house and has not been ridden for a year. it was only taken out for a track day and its MOT last December. there are blinkers on the head lights that just pull off. the rear number plate holder was removed when it was on display but its with the bike and brand new.
the dash/clocks where replaced on its last service receipts from Ducati to prove defect. the dash started to read lots of faults and high temp readings along with the mileage going backward but there were spurious and there was actually nothing wrong with the bike. ad clocks replaced its fine now. the bike has done very little miles on the new clocks as it was put on show in my house. on the last service last December it had a full overhaul with timing belts done and fuel sensors changed. i was going to use the bike this summer but i am moving home so its going.
the only thing wrong with this bike is the Alfa badge on the tank has a small bubble from the lacquer its not bad but i know its there. there is also a small break on the plastic the runs under & between the back light. i changed the back light to a LED complete with integral indicators. when i re-instated the rear cowl and pulled it over the light it broke the one side a small thin arm. its under the back light and you have to look for it. it wont cost much to have it repaired. or you could fix it yourself with plastic repair kit. apart from this it looks like it has just been wheeled out of the show room it really is a mint bike. i had a 1098R Bayliss model that looked exactly the same as this bike. and the exhaust is of that bike. i still have the plaque that you get with the real Bayliss model this will come with this bike along with the genuine Bayliss paddock stand front and back and bike cover.
Grab yourself a head turning bike.
