Superb 2009 Moto Guzzi V7 Classic
A throughly sorted bike with all the desirable upgrades.
I love this bike but sadly it doesn't suit my purposes anymore and it has to make way for a bigger sports tourer.
It came to me with 8. 00 on the clock from a retired gentleman via Arden Motorcycles in Henley on Arden. He had toured a bit of France. Germany and Austria with it and run in the engine beautifully.
I have made it my own with the replacement of the original silencers with aftermarket Mistral cans which add a couple more horses but more importantly give a beautiful sound. I also junked the standard rear shocks and front fork springs in favour of Hagon progressive springs and Nitro gas adjustable rear shocks build for a 75-80kg rider. These. and the addition of Avon Roadrider tyres have absolutely transformed the bike. You can now really use all the 50bhp and it's great fun to ride. In addition I replaced the standard bars with Norman Hyde M Bars. These are an aftermarket Triumph Bonneville bar but actually they make for a much better and slightly sportier position on the Guzzi without too much weight on the wrists.
It's been beautifully maintained by Streffords of Worcester and Corsa Italiana of Hersham and I will be very sorry to see it go. All bills present and correct.
The MOT is due in June but I have no doubts at all it will sail through and am happy to put a new one on if the full asking price is met.
I also have a full set of official Guzzi panniers. racks and a rear rack which came with the bike. I don't use them and they are stored at present. Yours for £400 if you wish.
This is a throughly sorted machine and as such the asking price is throughly realistic but with a little. and I stress a little. wriggle room. If you want a test ride you will need to provide me with your license and proof that you have full insurance to ride the bike.
