Lambretta LI150 Silver Special. Series 3 - Italian. Innocenti - 1965.

This scooter is 49 years old. registered as a 150cc but has a 175cc upgrade. which was carried out with a stage 4. Harry Barlow pro porting on a 200 barrel/piston/head and Jetex 22mm carb. This work was completed during a refurb this winter. I have owned this scooter since the summer of 2001. which I purchased running but was in need of a restoration. The scooter came into this country from Italy in November 2000 and registered with the LCGB in January 2001. (dating certificate present).

The scooter was stripped. blasted. powdercoated. painted and full engine rebuild during the winter of 2002 (complete photo story available). along with a full nut and bolt rebuild. During the scoots early years after the restoration it barely left my home only for it's annual trip for an MOT. then back in doors. It was only around 2010 that I actually decided to ride it regularly. plus adding all the chrome and extras (my era. 1970s). Then during the winter just gone. I decided for more power if I was going to ride more often and attend the odd rally.

But. once again I seem to have lost interest. The scooter deserves to be ridden. not locked away and polished. This is a great scooter for any body and a real eyecatcher. it runs like a dream. pulls like it should do and like I said. Needs to be ridden. sorry for the story folks. but I had To tell it.

Please note. there are a few marks on the paintwork. baring in mind the scoot was painted over 12 years ago. but nothing major. There is also a full photo history with this scoot. since I've owned it. plus all the old MOTs and tax discs.
