Lambretta Italian SX200 RB265cc 34hp tuned by Readspeed

It is with deep regret that I have to let my beloved Italian SX200 RB265cc go.

This is a one of a kind genuine Italian SX200 which has been built to replicate an original S Type/ café racer with a modern twist of performance and quality.

The scooter started as an all original S Type which I bought for the hearty some of £6500 from Nigel cox in Weston. t then got stripped and after various modifications etc. was sent to ken at kb paintshop in hull for paint. Meanwhile the engine was being designed and built by Jerome at readspeed to a RB air cooled 265cc spec (a one off) which when dynoed pushed out a smooth 35hp. I have ridden to a good few rallys and this engine is the best road going scooter I have ever ridden and probably will not be matched by me anyway. its not only quick but very smooth and reliable. Jerome knows the scooter very very well as it has had anything it has ever needed done by him with no expense spared therefore I'm sure he will be glad to vouch for it. If you know scooters you may have seen this around but when you look closely you will see the attention to detail and notice that virtually every nut and bolt is Italian and most of the parts used are one off very hard to find bits shipped from all over the world with a lot of nos from Rimmini Lambretta. As the engine is hand built the scooter comes with the original numbers matching SX200 standard engine however it is stripped so will require a rebuild. I could go on and on with spec details however it would probably be better to call me for the full build details!
I am only selling due to needing some ££. hopefully the right person will appreciate and love this scooter as much as I have.
