Kawasaki H1C 500 - 1972 - Full Restoration - Very Rare

A Genuine Kawasaki H1C - 1972 for sale. This is the rarest H1 and sold only in America. this is for the collector only. From everything that I can discover. this model was "made up" by Kawasaki America from an over supply for parts. and is assembled with parts from both A and B models and not all examples are identical. For many years is was believed that Kawasaki jumped from the B model to the D and the first few that ever made it to these shores. where believed to have been made out of two damaged bikes. that was not the case.
I personally imported the bike from the States in 2011 and I have had a full nut and bolt restoration completed by Simon Lister of Kawasaki Triple Parts in 2013. Genuine parts have been used where ever possible. exhausts are original having been re-chromed. the seat and base are original including the cover as this was all in good order. There would not have been a seat trap. but when removed the foam is compressed so I thought better to leave in place. Wheel rims are all original and have been re-chromed. hubs vapour blasted and re-spoked. Engine has been totally rebuilt. including a new crank. rebore and all bearings. Indicators have not been fitted as these where not there when I purchased and its believed they where on option at the time. I have invoices for £7000 in restoration cost.
The bike is now UK registered in my name and MOT`d until August 2015. I am in possession of copies of HM Customs C&E 386 and the New Jersey Certificate of Ownership. The speedo is reading 11. 00 miles. I have no way of verifying if this is genuine. you will have to make up your own mind.
I have had the engine and chassis numbers checked by various people in the Kawasaki Triples world to verify the bikes authenticity. however please feel free to do you own checks - Engine KAE-45146 - Chassis KAF-51401

I will not profess to be a Triples expert. I'm not. However I do know motorcycles having spent 30 years in the industry. This is a very rare bike and as the photos show. its in superb condition. Please only contact me if you are a serious buyer.
