The Mantis - Brand New Extreme Custom Chopper

This is The Mantis. An award winning bike with 107 awards in total. including an award from the World Championships. The Mantis is a very complex machine. Many parts have been sited not for ease or efficiency. but for aesthetics. The machine was built as a show bike to demonstrate the quality of workmanship the builder could produce.

The bike is a non runner but has run and have pics to prove. However for the machine to run. the carburetors will need to be changed. EVERYTHING on the bike was new when the bike was built. Would be ideal as a crowd puller or as a piece of art.

The pics just really don't do this machine justice. The bike comes with no MOT.

Tailpiece/Rear 'Guard: Custom item with much mods

Side Panels: Loadsa panels all in house

Bellypan/Other Bodywork: Oil tank. Battery box. ignition key and led lamp module all in house. Head stock area all fab and blending in house. Side flutes on each side of frame all made in house. Cable and fuel line flutes all in house. All engraving in house by Degs.

Colour(s): Shades of candy green with a colour changing fleck under the candy and a movement flake on top of the candy.

All forks and one off parts along with engraved areas to be plated or re-plated. Most parts were plated along with some feature 22ct Gold plate.

Engineering:

Most of the bike including all parts to forks and fender supports. rear axle blocks and fill panels. complete hydraulic clutch system. Hand shifter with integrated twist transmission brake. Oil tank system. breather systems. cover panels. Finned cooling radiator. chain re-route jockey wheel. Various covers. gearing etc. to carbs. Brackets and supports for coil and carb supports and all brackets. Fuel pump assembly and wheel spacers.
