Rare Moto Guzzi V1000i Convert.
If you are not familiar with the Convert is essentially a semi automatic version of the classic Guzzi G5. a 950cc low compression engine. semi automatic transmission and comfortable upright riding position with footboards. It is similar to the T3 Cali and 1000 SP or Spada. Read a classic road test here

I am only the second owner of this very low mileage bike from new. I've owned it for 5 years during which time I have used it and eventually restored it to its former glory. The bike is in excellent condition and runs reliably. the torque converter and gearbox have always worked well. It is a real head turner. the bike is currently on SORN but has a current MOT. Work carried out on the bike includes:
full strip. frame and swing arm blasted and coatedwheels refinished and fitted with new tyresall bodywork repainted and pinstripedwiring tidiedbrakes overhauledcarbs cleanedtop ends rebuilt on engine (due to sticking piston rings)

Regrettably I don't have time to use this bike as I own several Moto Guzzis so it is time to pass it on to someone who will make use of it.
