Moto Guzzi Centauro V10 GT Daytona motor

On offer is my 1999 Guzzi Centauro.
As you can see its in GT trim which is the rarest version with only 250 or so being made. I've owned it for 2 years and its registered to me at my home address.

The colour is Dark Grey as per the pictures

Current mileage is 22000ish and I got it at 17000ish. Around 19000 miles the clutch started slipping due to oil seeping past a tiny seal in the gear box and down the clutch release rod into the centre of the clutch. So the engine came out for a new clutch and seal together with a cam belt change. engine oil and filter. gearbox and rear drive oil change. front and rear brake fluid change and fuel filter. so its all up to date with servicing. I have the receipts for all the parts fitted.

If you know the Centauro there a few common issues that they suffer from and all of these have been sorted as follows- Creedon C3 ECU chip fitted to smooth out low and mid range fueling. all relays upgraded. substantial earth wire run from headlight mounted regulator to battery and from ECU to battery.

Upgrades are- aftermarket BOS “silencers”. Mistral crossover pipe. cylinder head guards. rear rack and Guzzi top box with key release from rack. and a clock! The standard silencers and crossover box come with the bike.

Tyres are in good condition. the bike starts and runs fine and everything works as it should. Overall condition is good and very good considering the age of the bike. The right side silencer has a scuff on it that looks like its been dropped. However. there are no scrapes or damage anywhere else on the bike so I think either the silencers were second hand and had been in a minor crash on another bike or the silencer has been caught on something as its been manoeuvred. The scrape is minor but best to point these things out.

I've got the original owners manual and a paper copy of the workshop manual. There is a service book with a couple of stamps in it from the bikes early days. but the condition of the bike and the fluid state when I changed them make it certain that its been serviced and looked after. I've got all the MOTs from 2002 to support the current mileage.

If you are new to the Centauro. google "Centauro owners club" and check out the COG forum. The Centauro is based on the Daytona sharing the same engine. frame. suspension. brakes etc. Its slightly detuned and obviously has different bodywork and rear subframe. Being derived from the Daytona it has White Power upside down forks. White Power rear shock. Brembo brakes and the Daytonas overhead cam 4 valve engine knocking out 95HP. Very well specified. vv
