Very nice example of a 650cc twin BSA Rocket Gold Star replica - cafe racer with lots of attention to detail.
This bike has been restored over the past 9 years by reputable companies as cash flow has allowed. SRM engineering fully restored the engine. gearbox and frame including a sump plug conversion. needle bearing conversion (instead of roller bearing on shaft). new pistons and rebore. refurbished magneto and dynamo. new carburettor. new spoked wheels. new shocks. new chain and sprocket. kick start orientated at 1 o'clock position. rear sets and drop handle bars and complete running chassis. Parts secured over the years including gold star tank refurbished to excellent condition.
The bike was finally assembled 4 years ago by local professional (employed by BSA factory in the 1960's) mechanic from Bromsgrove.
Never ridden in the rain and started regularly. This bike was originally a super rocket (alloy head).
New MOT and Tax. Excellent starter and ££££ spent.
Full price in cash required for test ride. If dropped crashed or abused then automatically bought.
451 miles since first MOT in June 2010.
