Yamaha TZ250 E 1978 very original

Family owned since 1980. Bought from David Brown Motorcycles having been used for one season.

Club raced in 1981 and in 1982 and then for half a season in 1986. Full documented history of results.

Restored and paraded once in 2007. unused since.

The crank has done 200 miles since re-build. pistons. clutch etc. 50 miles only.

Many original parts include:

Exhausts. steering damper. clip-ons. master cylinders. Discs. 'F' magnesium calipers (working). Hitachi ignition. DID wheel rims (correct size). footrests and 34mm Mikuni carbs (these have been cleaned ultrasonically and have not had fuel in since) with correct spacers and thumb choke.

Also included in this sale are parts which were on the bike when I bought it and I believe them to be original. These will require some restoration work to use.

Pair of 'E'cast iron calipers (seized) with original hoses.

Woven cloth seat (original upholstery). front mudguard (alloy blades) and fairing with alloy belly pan.

'E' rev counter bracket ( F one fitted)

Crank cases (centre bearings starting to turn).

This bike has been restored to a high standard using original fasteners where possible and extensive use of titanium and tasteful alloy otherwise.

Would make an ideal bike for Spa etc. or to enhance any collection.
